A couple of weeks back, I had my first dress fitting. Don’t get too excited; I’m still holding out on you all and won’t be posting any pictures of either the dress, or me in it, until after the Mister has seen me in it for himself! Part of what made my fitting so exciting though, was getting to try on the beautiful veil I had become totally obsessed with when I first found my dress… in fact I think the combination of veil and dress was actually what made me say “it’s the ONE” rather than just the dress alone! As yet, I can’t actually see anything on the net-a-porter website; but hopefully before long there will be a fabulous selection of pretty dresses which might potentially work as Bridesmaid attire for my Maid of Honour (and only sister), J.
So, what kind of pretty dress am I thinking – maybe something along these lines:
At present this is actually probably the only J Crew contender – but there will be a whole new season’s dresses before I need to make a decision, so perhaps we here in the UK will be able to lay our grubby little hands on some pretty pretty frocks in the not-so-distant future.
