I hate writing self-promotion of any kind, but in case you really must know something more about me I have attempted to sum myself up using the Japanese art of Haiku:

craft obsessed female

doesn’t like the washing up

loves her Texan boy

So that’s me; I also enjoy proper English fish & chips, sitting in a full movie theatre to watch a funny film, the smell of really old books and procrastinating from important work by browsing wedding blogs ;-)

But that’s only half the story!

“We” are the whole package in this story – me; the small-town English girl and him; the big-city Texan boy. A pair of unashamed geeks who love superhero movies, playing computer games and listening to big-haired 80′s rock music.

We met in 2007, while the Mister was stationed in the UK while serving in the USAF. In 2008 he took the plunge and left the military in order to pursue a career which meant he could stay in the UK. In 2009 we got engaged and are now planning our wedding for April 2011.

We currently live in sunny Suffolk, reputed to be the driest part of England (though you wouldn’t know it!) with our two kitties Jasmine and Patroclus. Someday we might consider hopping across the pond and transplanting ourselves to Texas!
